

AllegoryAs I walk into the room, darkness envelopes me from every corner. There seems to be no escaping this realm once I have taken part in it. Hour by hour, day by day I am forced to wear chains and sit in this chair with a vertical pole up my spine. Blurred images project on a screen in darkness, telling me facts I “must know”. If I do not vomit this information, will that be the end of me? Is Latin, even arithmetic, my food and drink? Without it I will surely shrivel up, and perish; at least that is what I have been told.Allegory
